As part of a schedule of upgrades, niu has expanded its Bagshot Operations Centre, increasing its help desk functionality and implementing a new Security Operations Centre (SOC).
The SOC will act as a focal point for all security related management processes, including monitoring external threats. In support of the growing compliance and security requirements of customers, new tooling and solutions will be developed throughout 2012.
“As our clients face increased legislation, the provision of compliant IT processes is critical – this is especially emphasised with outsourced or cloud based services,” says Andrew Cloney, Chief Operating Officer at niu. "These new facilities will provide the capacity we need to continue supporting our client’s compliance requirements, but also allow for the segregation of our security practice in line with industry best practice.”
