The virtual event is hosted by IBM’s Randy Arseneau, and includes a case study presentation from Telford College in Edinburgh, as well as niu. There will be a chance to ask questions of the presenters about the virtualised solution, quizzing users directly on the technology and the benefits they’ve witnessed; from increased capacity and high scalability to reduced capital expenditure.
The main event starts at 3pm and finishes at 4. Being a virtual event, after the presentation participants can take a look round the networking lounge, and talk with other XIV users and experts, as well as browse the resource centre for further information. For those that are interested in viewing the presentations after the event, they will be available to download from http://events.unisfair.com/index.jsp?eid=556&seid=9299.
