Liverpool Science Park
Liverpool Science Park provides high specification offices and laboratories for science and knowledge-based companies. With its owners, the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool City Council, and in partnership with the Merseybio Incubator, it offers tenants first-class accommodation and an optimised operational environment with links to the region’s specialist experts. The park has two Innovation Centres, with funding recently approved to build a third, to satisfy increased demand.
JD Sports
JD Sports opened its first store in 1981, and now dominates the UK sports wear market with approximately 350 stores. They approached niu to enhance their IT infrastructure. niu developed a strategy for effective disaster recovery to ensure business continuity, implementing a secure but flexible IT infrastructure to simplify day-to-day tasks, host back-office applications and manage WAN access between sites, at the same time providing JD with PCI:DSS compliance.
